About Q and Bayes

My name is Charlotte and I run UK acrylic laser cut jewellery company Black Heart Creatives. Asides from making plastic jewellery, my other passions are the internet and writing and skincare. I have written under various guises for the past 15 years including a music/zine, horror and film blogs plus size fashion and lifestyle sites, and a few feminism and opinion pieces. My Twitter (which has been called hilarious and thriving and no I am not above retweeting or telling you about praise like this, enjoy the thirst) really became the place I did most of my talking and advice dispensing as running your own business does take up a lot of time. I have a bit more time now so I decided to make my own podcast/ and advice site. 

I will absolutely hold my hands up here and let you know now that I do not have any qualifications in counselling or ~official advice giving, so everything I advise here absolutely should be taken at face value. It just so happens that people come to me for advice as I have really been there and done it, and seen it all. I enjoy helping others and find it easy to be objective and practical with all my years of hindsight and experience. Yes my life is often messy and hard, but I find drawing from your own experience can be a good thing.

As I mentioned my other passion in is sheer unadulterated vanity, so I guess that is beauty, cosmetics and skin care. Over the years I have worked with several brands including Kiehls Sourz, Bleach London, Lush, Neals Yard Remedies and The Marriott Hotel.
